We are looking forward to another great summer of rea
ding! This summer, we are working with Eric Wight, author and illustrator of the Frankie Pickle Series to create a Frankie Pickle Summer!
In 2010 we had over 250,000 pages read among our area schools. Let's see if we can break that record in 2011!
This year the school to beat is Lower Salford Elementary - the winner of $250 in FREE BOOKS for the 3 Years in a Row!
Our summer reading program goes like this...
1. Kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to participate.2. Every completed reading log = 1 Harleysville Books Buck.
3. Completed logs must either have 10 books listed OR a minimum of 500 pages recorded.
4. Every page you read = 1 point for your school. This summer, Frankie Pickle books will count as DOUBLE POINTS!
The school with the most points wins the GRAND PRIZE of $250 in books for your SCHOOL’S LIBRARY!
