I'm a sophomore at Temple University and specialize in classic literature, but enjoy many genres. Here's what I like.
Watchmen (Paperback)$19.99 ISBN-13: 9780930289232Availability: Usually Ships in 1-5 days Published: DC Comics, 04/01/1995 This graphic novel is one of the most amazing stories that I have ever read. It tells the story of multiple ex- and current vigilantes living in an alternate history of 1985. It blends together politics, philosophy, history, and even manages to touch on the human condition. A movie adaptation is coming out in 2009.
A Clockwork Orange (Paperback)$13.95 ISBN-13: 9780393312836Availability: On Our Shelves Now Published: W. W. Norton & Company, 04/01/1995 A classic novel about strife in the underbelly of a city. Alex, the central character, spends the nights with his gang creating mischief. One night, this all changes with an accidental murder. Alex is sent to prison and then to an experimental government facility. Burgess skillfully blends together sci-fi and crime to make this a masterpiece.

This series is, by far, one of the most amazing epic stories I have ever read. King masterfully tells the story of Roland and his quest to the Dark Tower. It transcends genres, switching from adventure, to horror, to western, to sci-fi, and back to adventure in every book. These seven books tie together King's career as an author.

Ender quickly ascends the ranks and conquers every challenge, only to learn the horrible truth about the academy.
