Holly Black has a very unique and delightful take on the world of the Fae - they are both beautiful and dangerous, one and all. 16 year old Kaye is the daughter of a rock musician mother who never stays in one place long. When circumstances frce her to return to her Grandmother's, she learns there are secrets in her past that lead her to being a pawn of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. A great read for teens or adults, you get lost in the characters she develops.

A beatiful, gripping novel telling the story of a Harvard Professor who is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the young age of 50. Told from her point of view, the reader learns of both the losses and the gains involved with this disease. I absolutely loved this novel, truly couldnot put it down. It is moving and thought provoking.

A story about a set of extremely intelligent twins, their commimet phobic mother and their hippie grandmother who are all thrown together to tak care of their dying, estranged grandfather. A beautifully written book that leads you through the lessons of the heart as seen, with amazing clarity, through a 12 year olds eyes. I highly recommend thi novel.
