Junior Scouts

Harleysville Books is working together with local Girl Scout troops to make a difference.

Snooze-A-Palooza Night!                                                                                                                                        $35 per girl, 4 hours, Minimum of 8 girls

Plan a sleepover for your Juniors – we’ll have all the fun but none of the hassle of camping!  It’s a Snooze-A-Palooza Not a Sleepover with crafts, games and food and movie American Girl style.  Brownies come dressed in their pjs and bring a pillow and blanket. Each Junior will receive the Sleepover Fun Patch.   

Earn a Badge

Juniors are independent!  Bring your troop to our store and we’ll take care of the rest.  Each Badge workshop is $30 per girl and includes 2 hours of snack, activities and crafts.  Each workshop needs a minimum of 6 girls. 

Books Badge

Where else but in a bookstore can girls learn about books?  We’ll share with them the secret to how books are made and they will get a chance to put their ideas into one of their own.  Each girl will receive her own journal to talk with her. 

Looking Your Best

Looking your best is important, but taking care of yourself is even better!  We’ll work through how to look your best and be comfortable with who you are. Each girl will receive a copy of Read Beauty: 101 Ways to Feel Great About You by American Girl. 

Food Power

Picking the right choices for food is easy when you know what good to eat.  With quizzes and activities that are fun, girls will make their own healthy snack and learn the things to look for when picking what to eat.  Each girl will receive a copy of Food & You by American Girl.
