Join this month's Indian Valley YMCA Book Club discussion.  Led by YMCA Membership Director, Lenny Grossman, this month's meeting is a free discussion - share the books you are reading.

Join us for a great party to recognize the accomplishments of our elementary school summer readers.  Fun, games and prizes galore!

Tom Allebach, Executive Director of Manna on Main Street and Victoria Solomon, recent North Penn HS graduate and member of Manna's Board of Directors, Princeton University student present their book, Those People, Outsiders Welcomed to Manna on Main Street.

Who are Those People who come to soup kitchens for help…Those People who, for a variety of reasons, have difficulty keeping their lives together…Those People who sometimes have trouble fitting into the mainstream…Those People who are often singled out for harassment and ridicule? Those People is a collection of stories about the individuals who come to Manna on Main Street, a soup kitchen and food cupboard in the Philadelphia suburbs. Learn how this affluent area is a home to many people in need. These true stories reveal their invisible lives, their journeys, and their hopes, struggles, and triumphs.

     Be prepared for your Summer Reading Response by attending our free book discussion.  Two of the most popular required reading titles, House on Mango Street and The Lovely Bones, will be the topic books.  Registration is required.

It's that time of year again!  Kids are going back to school and parents are celebrating!  Join us for our 3rd Annual Back to School Bash for Parents ONLY!  Put the kids on the bus, call your friends and celebrate with us.  We'll have coffee and snacks and catch up on the things you have put aside while the kids have been home for the summer.  Enjoy some ADULT TIME!  The event is free, but registration is requested.

Join us each week as we share stories for our weekly story time for kids.  There is no need to register.  Everyone is invited.  Meet up with a friend and come and make new friends.

Join us to welcome our newest friend, Rebecca Rubin, to the American Girl Family.  Our party will include games, prizes and the drawing for the new Rebecca Doll.  Registration is required. 

Join us for our first Family Game Night!  We're combining two of our favorite things - books and BINGO.  Come out for fun, prizes and refreshments.  Families of all sizes and ages are invited to participate.  Space is limited, so please register early.

Monday Night Football has started, so if you can't stand football, join us for a Girls Night Out with Sara Shepard.  Sara's novels appeal to both adult women and teens.  Moms, teens and friends are invited to come out to start their week out right - share some laughter and have some fun! 

Sara is the bestselling author of the popular young adult series, Pretty Little Liars.  Modeled off of Sara's own childhood growing up on the Main Line, fans will want the newest addition to the series, Killer.

Visibles is recommended by Shelly - Visibles is one of those novels that makes you think about the happiness in your own life.  Bad things happen to everyone - how you handle it, the fear it can invoke, science versus fate are all discussed through the characters of this novel.  I rooted for the characters and at times was mad at them - it was a great read!

This month our Business Leader's book discussion is E Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.  Members need to be members of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.
