Susan's Pick: This book was fantastic! It's one of my favorites of 2009. If you enjoy books with strong female characters and a story set during one of the most turbulent times in America's recent history, you will surely enjoy this book. It would be a great novel for a book club as it certainly could generate a variety of discussion topics.
